Death of Logan Zeigler
Logan Zeigler, said to be the oldest resident in this state, died at his home one and one-half miles north of here, last Friday, aged 69 years. Immediate cause of death was paralysis. The funeral was on Sunday, at 12 o'clock, and burial in the cemetery near Fall Leaf obsequies being conducted by Rev. Smith of Bonner Springs, Kans. Deceased leaves a wife and four children. He was considered quite wealthy, his landed estate amounting to 750 acres.
Other child: Martha Zeigler Probably born in 1856 or 1857 and died before 1862.
