Hughie, born Aug. 28, 1931, peacefully passed into heaven Aug. 17, 2019, with family near.

He proudly served in the Navy, where he completed his GED. He graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UofA, and worked as department manager at Rockwell International and Northrop on the Minuteman missile, SINS, B1 Bomber and the B2 Stealth Bomber.

Retired in Arkansas, he enjoyed playing the steel guitar, jamming with friends. He was a pilot instructor for single and twin aircrafts; restored a '46 Ford coupe, '57 Nomad and '58 Harley. As a member and deacon in Central Baptist Church, he enjoyed many events with his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Hughie is survived by wife, Mary H.; son, Hugh (Donna), of Hot Springs; and daughter, Desha, of California. He had four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: Travis (Stacey), Corwin, Billie, Aiden; Amanda Padilla (Erno), Ethan, Jonas, Oliver, Penny, Mason; Sean (Christie), Morgan; Rachel Walker (Colin) -- all of California. He is loved by many nephews, nieces and friends.

Preceded by parents, J.I. and Myrtle Dunnahoe (Hardin), seven stepbrothers/sisters, three half brothers and four siblings.
