"Clifford L. Lineberry, 71, Gladstone, died Nov. 26, 1990, at St Luke's Hospital. He was born in Harrison, Ark., and lived in this area for 55 years. Mr. Lineberry worked for the American Can Co. for 30 years, retiring as a production mechanic in 1975. He was a member of the National Railway Historical Society. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Opal R. Lineberry of the home; two sons, Robert H. Lineberry of the home and Ronald C. Lineberry of Roswell, Ga.; a daughter, Ruth E. Armstrong of Lawson in Ray County; two brothers, Paul E. Lineberry of Columbia and Marvin G. Lineberry of Kansas City; three sisters, Helen Wren of Louisburg, Kan., Judy Manthie of Kansas City and Charlene Coakley of San Antonio; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Newcomer's White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, November 28, 1990
