"Marvin L. Lineberry, 91, of a nursing home in Pleasant Valley in Clay County, died Monday at Spelman Memorial Hospital. He was born in Harrison [sic], Ark., and had lived in Clay County since 1936. Mr. Lineberry was a construction contractor before he retired 20 years ago. He was a member of the Gashland United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Clay County Fox Hunters Association. He leaves three sons, Paul Lineberry of Columbia, Mo., C. L. Lineberry of Gladstone and M. G. Lineberry of Kansas City; three daughters, Mrs. Charlene Coakley and Mrs. Judy Manthei of Kansas City and Mrs. Helen Wren of Louisburg, Kan.; 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, July 18, 1984
