Shirley Ann Brauer (nee Todd) passed into the hands of God on October 11, 2021 at the age of 72 years due to complications from COVID-19. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her husband Timothy R. Brauer; her brothers Allen W. Todd and Louis G. Todd; her parents Carroll Allen Todd and Dorothy Gayle Rogers Todd; maternal grandparents Clarence "Pete" Rogers and Gayle B. Binau Rogers; paternal grandparents Birdett L. "Bert" Todd and Charlotte A. "Lottie" Beeks Todd.
Shirley was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 18, 1949 to Carroll Allen Todd and Dorothy Gayle Rogers Todd. She was the fourth of five children born to them. She attended schools in San Jose and Willow Glen, California.
On August 31, 1968, she was married at a Catholic Church in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California to Timothy Robert Brauer. To them were born two children. They lived in San Jose and Gilroy, California, until their retirement when they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, exploring nature and fishing, family gatherings that included picnics, playing cards, all kinds of animals, and took great pride in her family. She loved to make you laugh. One of her favorite pastimes was teasing and joking with her siblings, especially about sports and her 49'ers!
Rest in Peace, Shirley. You will be forever missed and held close in the hearts of those you left behind.
