Nashville -- Mrs. Helen Irene Palmer, 68, died Thursday, June 21, 1990, at Nash General Hospital.
She was born in East Prairie, Missouri, Oct. 10, 1921, daughter of the late Sam Rodgers.
Surviving: mother, Rachel Matilda Jolet of Nashville; son, Ray Wallace of Nashville; daughters, Genevieve Sheaffer of Pennsylvania, Marlin Ann Miles of Illinois, Sue Colter of Missouri; brother, Lawrence F. Rogers of Illinois; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Nashville, with Bruce Thweatte officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
