Jannice Schaeffer, age 80 of Bertrand, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born November 5, 1940 in Missouri to the late Lester Irenus Wallace and Buelah Irene Wallace. She was a longtime resident of East Prairie, Missouri and a homemaker. She was of Pentecostal faith.

Jannice is survived by two sons, David Lee Brentlinger and Karlton Ray Brentlinger of Texas; two daughters, Terry Lynn Brentlinger and Twylla Lynn Roderick of Benton, Missouri; and two sisters, Marlin Ann Miles of Caseyville, Illinois and Lesta Sue Colter of Sikeston, Missouri. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was as preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Ray Wallace; and one sister, Ollie Mae Wallace.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Frank Mulligan officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
