Ada Breithaupt, age 76, of Rogers passed away Saturday November 6, 2021, in Rogers.
She was born November 18, 1944, in Protem, Missouri the daughter of Jacob David and Nova Rozell Nave.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and her husband Donald Breithaupt. She is survived by six siblings and her son Daryl Breithaupt.

Within the frame of those bookends lies the life of the intelligent, beautiful, and loving woman who is my mother. She taught me that understanding someone was not reducible to a list of their life events, but in feeling their presence. Therefore, I confess I do not know all the events of her life. However, let me share those events of her life that seem to me to reflect what I felt being her son.
She struck out from the Ozarks and began a career in technology at a time when there was precious few women in the sciences. It was her strength of will and independence that let her advance along that path. During my lifetime, I saw her along with my father succeed at one of the most difficult of business enterprises, owning and managing a restaurant. Her faith and love for family sustained that success.
Being the recipient of such love has taught me most of what I know about being a good human being. I feel so blessed to be her son and will carry on as best I can that love and faith she put into this world.
