Madeline Wilkerson Cameron, 71, of Chesapeake, VA., died Monday. A Durham native, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Luna McKee Wilkerson and the widow of Daniel B. Cameron, Jr. Mrs. Cameron retired from the Norfolk Naval regional Finance Center in 1971 after twenty years of service. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Daniel B. Cameron, III (Dorisann) of Chesapeake, VA.; a sister, Mabel Waddell of Hillsborough; three brothers, Robert Wilkerson of Hurdle Mills, Marvin Wilkerson of Durham and Samuel Wilkerson on Ft. Pierce, FL.; two grandchildren, Barry Cameron and Denise Cameron.
A graveside funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends will be received 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
