Howard L. Hudson, 72, of Canyon died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. David Lowrie, pastor, and the Rev. Kenneth Martin, son-in-law, officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. CST in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, N.M. Arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home.

Howard was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Clovis to Robert Edward Hudson and Gracie Yoder Dane. He married Katherine Parrish on June 24, 1956, in Clovis.

He retired from Asarco as an electrical supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church in Canyon and the Blue Grass Association.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine; two daughters, Diane Hinders and husband Greg of Amarillo and Barbara Martin and husband Kenneth of McLean; a brother, Bill Hudson of Amarillo; three sisters, Leona Winkler of Roswell, N.M., Vera Allen of Canyon and Patsy Roberts; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church building fund, 1717 Fourth Ave., Canyon, TX 79015.
