He was born on the island of Andros, Greece to Demetrios and Maria (Valmas) Karastamatis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marika (Amolochitis) and brothers, Ioannis and Reverend Father John. He is survived by his children, Dimitri (Donna) Karastamatis and Eleni (John) Pronos. He was blessed with four special grandchildren, Marika, Christina, Angelina and Panteli. He is also survived by two brothers, Stamatis and Marino and their families. Pantelis was a loving uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many.
