Charles W. Hansen, 92, of Kiel died Friday evening December 7, 2007 at St. Luke's South Shore Hospital. He was born July 14, 1915 in Calumet County, son of the late Walter and Mathilda (Graf) Hansen. Charles was a graduate of New Holstein High School.
On May 28, 1941 Charles married the former Grace Voigt at the home of Grace's parents in Louis Corners. Grace preceded him in death on June 9, 2003.
Survivors include his children; James Hansen of rural Kiel, Joyce (Richard) Rader of Oak Creek, Richard (Barbara) Hansen of Surprise AZ. Nine Grandchildren; Stanley Hansen of Sierra Vista AZ, Bill (Kris) Hansen of Northfield MN, Cheryl (Troy) Brack of Kiel, Brian (Dawn) Hansen of Cascade, Amy (Jim) Schram of Muskego, Julie (Steve) Kimpel of Rexburg ID, Becky (Dale) Sheahan of Muskego, Sandy (Brian) Tomalak of South Elgin IL, Eric (Heidi) Hansen of Algoma. Eighteen Great Grandchildren. He is further survived by a Brother; Eugene (Maria) Hansen of New Holstein, Sister-in-law; Dorothy Gutschow of Menasha, Brother-in-law; Fred Voigt of Manitowoc.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Grace, a daughter-in-law; Helen Hansen, Brothers and Sisters; Eunice (Gilbert) Erbach, Gilbert (Arlyne) Hansen, Eliene (Charles) Altmann, Ruth (Jim) Thixton, sister-in-law; Vangeline (Egbert) Hahn.
