A funeral service for Ronald R. Cooper, 66 of Hebron will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday November 6, 2021 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street with Steve Harley officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. A visitation will be observed Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until services at the funeral home.

Mr. Cooper died Sunday October 24, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center. He was born in Newark August 14, 1955 to Harold L. and Margaret (Clemens) Cooper.

Ron was a 1973 graduate of Newark High School. He is retired manager of the U Haul Rental in Newark and was the former manager of PicWay Shoes. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and deer hunting. He was an avid OSU football fan.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon K. (McCarty) Cooper; son, Micheal Dunigan and Megan of Garden City, GA; sisters, Alida (Mike) Bishop, Sherry Hysell all of Newark; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen (Fred) Mathis, Penny McCarty & James White all of Newark; several nieces, nephews; great nieces & great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Cooper; brother-in-law, Earl Hysell; niece, Shirka Bishop.
