Alice Dell Stanley Marchman, 94, of Macon, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. A celebration of Ms. Marchman's life will be held on Sunday, November 7, at 3:00 PM at Northway Baptist Church in Macon, with Pastor Stephen Howard officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Marchman was born on March 12, 1927, in Wrightsville, Georgia, to the late Rowell Manche Stanley and Jeannie Daniel Stanley. She was a devout Christian that was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Marchman was very proud of her Irish heritage; she loved celebrating St. Patrick's Day. She was a wonderful cook; making banana pudding was her favorite. Mrs. Marchman spent much of her free time dancing, singing, and playing bingo. She was a loving wife, momma, mimi, and grandmother. Mrs. Marchman's family was her greatest joy.

Mrs. Marchman was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Henry Stevens Marchman; daughter, Diane M. Phillips; sister, Jean Stanley Edwards; and brothers, Wilbur Stanley and Joseph Stanley.

Mrs. Marchman is survived by her daughter, Audra Tidwell (Chuck); son, Benny Marchman (Carol); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
