Bruce Alexander DeLaet passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 29th 2021. Bruce was born April 3,1945 to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Betty Brosel)DeLaet. During Bruce's lifetime he enjoyed working for DeLaet Enterprise as a truck driver. The standing family joke was he always knew directions anywhere, because he logged off that road. Bruce enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Bruce also enjoyed making things with his hands. From cutting boards, knives and canes for family and loved ones. Family and friends made Bruce happy and he loved to entertain, especially with bonfires in his backyard and Christmas drinks around the kitchen table.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Carol. On December 19, 1970, Bruce and Carol were married in Menominee, MI. Last December they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Bruce is also survived by his daughter and sons and their families. He also leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Bruce is further survived by two sisters Charmaine and Paricia; extended family of Marge, Sandy , Richard and Judy, Fred , Darrell and Lucy, and Ken and Corine; lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved spending time with and all the friends that became his family over the years. You know who you are.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Brenon; his brother, Warren (Catherine) Delaet; and sister-in-law Betty Marineau.
