— Mr. Edw. Shacklett, of Hannibal, died at the residence of his brother-in-law, W. I. Seymour, last Wednesday night. The funeral will take place to-morrow (Friday).

Edw. Shacklett died last night at the residence of W. I. Seymour. He was about 50 years old and leaves a wife and three children.

Edward Shacklett died of consumption last Thursday morning at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Lou Seymour, near Palmyra. Deceased had many relatives and friends in Shelbina, New London, Hannibal and elsewhere who were pained to hear of his death.

Mr. Edward Shacklett, whose death we briefly chronicled in our last, issue, was born in Warrenton, Fauquier county, Virginia, Nov. 5, 1833, and three years later moved with his parents to this county. In 1860 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary I. Brown, of Ralls county. For many years he was engaged in business in Hannibal. He leaves a wife, son and two daughters to mourn his loss.

DIED.
Edward Shacklett, whose death was chronicled last week, was born in Warrenton, Fauquier county, Va., Nov. 15 [sic], 1833; came to Missouri in 1836; was raised in Marion county and married Miss Mary I. Brown, of Now London, Ralls county, in May, 1860. He has resided in Hannibal for the last 22 years, where he was engaged as clerk in several large dry goods houses. He leaves a wife, son and two daughters to mourn his loss.
