The funeral of George Deans was held this afternoon from the residence of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Thomas Fenton, 18 Mohawk Street, Rev. H. W. McGee of the Methodist church, Waterford, officiated. The bearers were Frank Phoenix, Henry Busher, Thomas Patten, David Clark, Robert Clark, William Bailey and Daniel Duncan. Burial was in Waterford Rural Cemetery.
