Wanda Louise Morris, 62, of Holdenville died this morning at McAlester Regional Health Center. The daughter of Mattie Velma Carlile Sutterfield and Aaron Andrew Sutterfield, she was born Jan. 4, 1930 in Eakly. She was reared in the Stuart area and attended Stuart Schools and also attended Wilburton Eastern Oklahoma State College. She married S. T. Morris on January 4, 1947 in McAlester. They made their home in Yeager from 1960 to 1972 and in Sasakwa from 1972 to 1985. They moved back to the Yeager Community in 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holdenville. Survivors include her husband, S. T. Morris of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Donna Morris of Tecumseh and Danny and Dala Morris of Yeager; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Gail and Jimmy Don Brown of Holdenville and Jill and Mike Welch of Ada; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Nita Faye Morris and Bennadene Harris, both of Stuart; a brother, Hugene Sutterfield of Tecumseh; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Stuart. Interment will be at Pryor Cemetery under the direction of Hudson Funeral Home of Holdenville.
