Born June 24, 1941, in Winfield, AL, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Wilburn Beasley and the late Verna "Molly" Lynn Beasley. She was a member of Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church and the Grace Thomas Sunday School Class. She graduated from Tupelo High School in Tupelo, MS. She attended Free Will Baptist Bible College (now known as Welch College) in Nashville, TN. She was a Teacher's Assistant in North and South Carolina, Mississippi, and Georgia. Mostly she was a homemaker, pastor's wife, and faithful friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jan McElveen; and her brother-in-law, Tracy McElveen.
