D. N. Brothers, 83-year-old county man, died Saturday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. A. C. Lemons, west of Norman, after an illness of 16-months.
Mr. Brothers, a resident of Oklahoma for 60 years and of this county for the past 10, is survived by five daughters, Mrs. A. C. Lemons; Mrs. Rose Lemons, Norman; Mrs. Ida Bowers, Amber; Mrs. C. H. Connelly, Noble, and Mrs. Grace Daughtery, Fort Cobb; a son, Ben Brothers, Idaho Falls, Idaho; 40 grand children and 62 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m. today in the Jansing-Primrose funeral home by John P. Lewis, assistant professor of New Testament, Oklahoma school of religion. Interment was at Warren cemetery."
