Howard Edward Beard, 88, of Fulton passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

He was born in Williamsburg, Missouri on August 1, 1933, to the late Howard Monroe Beard and the late Allie Mae (Pathy) Beard.

Howard was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement, he worked as a custodian at Gasper's. Howard loved to travel to Lake Ozark to watch late model car racing. He also enjoyed watching wrestling, attending the state fair, and gatherings with his family.

He is survived by son, Thomas Kemp of Co.; sister, Allie Buckner of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by sisters, Blanche Kemp, and Grace McBride.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in Fulton with Reverend David Hartsfield officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Southside Cemetery.
