Lida E. wife of H.M. Mummey, died at the home of her father in law, Ben Mummey, in Jackson township, near Jordan at 11 o'clock Thursday night June 7th. The deceased was born in Boone county and twenty seven years of age. Besides a husband she leaves four small children, two boys and two girls. The funeral was held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, from her late residence, Rev J.C. Crawford officiating, and the remains laid to rest in the Mitchell cemetery.
