Edward Cooley died at his home in Dayton, Wednesday, his death ending an illness of two months, resulting from a cancerous tumor.

Mr. Cooley was a native of Clarks Hill, and was 62 years of age. He was the father of Mrs. Hazel Miller, Mrs. Ora Coyner and Mrs. Henriette Roberts, of Mulberry, and he lived here from 1922 to 1927, in the Moses Allen property, going from here to Dayton. He was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral service is conducted today by Pastor Pearson.

Lloyd Cooley, son of the deceased, is manager of the Dayton Grain company.
