Opal (Johnson) Fowler, age 95, of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at her residence. She was the mother of Sue Moore, and Virginia Harris both of London, Kentucky; the step-mother of Elmer Fowler of Culver City, California, and Eulene Donathan of Queen City, Arizona. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Walter "Pete" Fowler; by her parents, Carlo and Emma (Hampton) Johnson; by her daughter, Joyce Miller; by her grandchild; by her siblings, Carl Johnson and Isaac Johnson; by her step-son, Raymond Fowler.
She was a member of Friendship Holiness Church, a retired store clerk and bookkeeper.
Funeral services for Opal (Johnson) Fowler will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in London Funeral Home Chapel with David Rice and Virginia Harris officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Opal (Johnson) Fowler will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Brad Harris, Derek Flynn, Rob Reynolds, Brady Brummett, Eugene "Chip" Martin, and Roger Wattenbarger. Honorary pallbearers will be Renee Robinson Cooper, Debera Parra, Mindy Bishop, Jo Grubb, Marcella Lawson, and Janice Wing.
