Mrs. Alzina Lansdown, died at her home in Edgerton, Kansas, Sunday, at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Alzina Hood was born July 21, 1843, and moved as a small child to Illinois with her parents. Her parents soon died and she was left to make her home with a married sister. She with her sister and husband came to Kansas, at the close of the civil war, settling near Auburn, in Shawnee county. On May 29, 1864, she was married to M. S. Bigelow, who died on March 29, 1882. On February 2, 1885 she was married to J. M. Edenfield, father of J. S. Edenfield. Mr. Edenfield died June 30, 1901. On May 19, 1904 she was married to Col. Harrison L. Landsdowne, who with J. S. and Harland Edenfield of Pincer Creek, Canada, Mrs. Libbie McHaffie, and Mrs. Lillie Montgomery of Pincher Creek Canada, Al Landsdowne, William Landsdowne and Mrs. Flora Castor of Gardner, Kansas, Mrs. B. B. Wilkerson of Kentucky, step-children, two sister, Mesdames Eva Roach of Wichita, Kansas and Burmood of Rushville, Illinois.
