Anglo-Irish civil engineer, surveyor, and cartographer. He produced, with his father, the first maps of County Longford and adjoining counties. Edgeworth was elected a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 1829, was a member of the Royal Irish Academy, and the Royal Astronomical Society.
