On the 29 of January of 1855, she was married in Baltimore, Maryland to Austin Arthur who was also from County Mayo, Ireland. Soon after their marriage they emigrated to Rock County, Wisconsin, where between 1866 and 1867, they moved west into Green County, Wisconsin.
Austin and "Kate" had 5 daughters and 7 sons.
Catherine died in July 19 of 1910. Austin had died in 1904.
They are buried at the Calvary Cemetery in Monroe, Wisconsin.
