Jeremiah Williams (son of Joseph Williams and Lydia Hearndon) was born 1702 in Providence Settlement (Providence Plantations) Rhode Island Colony, and died 30 Apr 1789 in killed and scalped by Indians near Hudson, New York at the time of the Cherry Valley Massacre.He married Abigail Mathewson on 24 Dec 1735 in Providence Village (Providence) Rhode Island Colony, daughter of Zachariah Mathewson and Sarah UNKNOWN.
