Thomas J. McCormick, a retired clerk, died Satuarday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Chester. He lived at 210 W. 5th St., Chester. Mr. McCormick was an honorary member of Felton Fire Co. of Chester. He is survived by his widow, the former Margaret Lynch; a son, Thomas J. Jr., of Ridley Park; four daughters, Mrs. Sara Henry of Chester, Mrs. Blanche Caldwell of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Laura Contrisciane of Brookhaven and Mrs. Ferne Schott of Parkside; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Downey of Chester; two brothers, Horace of Chester and Oliver of Wilmington; nine grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
