Race Horse. Born at the Brookdale Farm Lincroft, New Jersey, she became the first filly ever to win all three Saratoga Race Course events for two-year-olds in 1914. In 1915, she was the first filly to win the Kentucky Derby and was voted the Eclipse Horse of the Year Award. Out of 11 starts in four seasons 1914 to 1917, Regret won nine, placed second in one and was never beaten by a female horse. In 1957, she was inducted into the US Horse Racing Hall of Fame and is rated number 71 on the top 100 US Thoroughbred Champions of the 20th century.
