Jane (Murphy) Anders, 90, passed away peacefully at her residence in Skippack, PA early Sunday morning, September 19th, 2021. She was the wife of the late Andrew C. Anders who passed away in 2013.

Born November 9, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Catherine (McCullough) Murphy. She was a graduate of Roxborough High School and earned a secretarial degree from Lycoming College. She served in civil service in Japan after World War II.

Mrs. Anders had been employed at Leeds & Northrup, Amerigas, Kleinert's Children's Clothing and Central Schwenkfelder Church, from which she retired at the age of 82. An active member of Central Schwenkfelder Church since 1959, she was active with the church's Ladies' Aid Society. When her children were younger, she assisted as a volunteer with North Penn Marching Knights. Her hobbies and interests were varied, but her family came before anything.

Surviving are her four children, Andrew Anders, Jr. (Denise), Catherine M. Mineo (Randall), William M. Anders and Leslie J. Anders; and two grandchildren, Mark and Alisha Anders.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Jill Anders, in 2002.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 10:30am on Thursday, September 23rd, 2020, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Road., Lansdale, PA, where family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am. Interment will be private.
