BENTON, LA - Graveside services will be conducted for Marshall Howington, Sr., age 66, in Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dennis Randall. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
He entered into rest on February 14, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Laura Howington; wife, Pauline Howington; grandson, Austin Howington and son-in-law, Mat Gates.
He is survived by his mother, Emma D. Howington of Epps, LA; daughters, Teresa Hicks and husband, Roy, of Benton, LA, Gail Gunn and husband David, of Bossier City, LA, Yvonne Akins and husband Vernon, of Bossier City, LA; son, Marshall D. Howington, Jr. (Buddy) and wife Ramona, of Inman, SC; brother, Dwain Howington, and wife, Lou, of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Amy Hicks, Trey Hicks, Mathew Gates and wife Amy Jo, Ben Gates, Marshall B. Howington, Shelby Howington and one great grandchild, Tyler Hicks. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
The family would like to thank Amy Jo Gates, Crystal Starr and Rachel Leighty for all of their love and care and also Dr. Mike Sewell of WK-Bossier, for all of his support.
