Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi.
Mr. Howington died Sunday at Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emma Dee Howington of Epps; two sons, Dwain Howington of Monroe and Marshall Howington of Bossier City; four brothers, Murray Howington of Delhi, Fred "Junior" Howington of Columbia, Willie Howington of Westwego and Walter Howington of Wesson, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Dixon of Cairo, Ill., Mrs. Gladys Taylor of Monroe and Mrs. Lucille Clingan of Mangham; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
