KEITHVILLE, LA - Mrs Deaninne Townsend Dean passed away after complications from a surgery at LSU on September 2, 2001. She was born on March 9, 1958 in Shreveport, LA. Mrs Dean worked many years at The Home Depot in Shreveport was a member of Grawood Baptist Church and attended Pentecostals on Meriwether. She loved to spend time in hr flower bed and read novels. Mrs Dean was also an animal lover raising Chows for several years.
Her husband, David Dean preceded her in death along with her parents John Hardy and Gladys Louise Townsend. Surviving r her children Justin Townsend and Amber Dean, brother Lane Townsend, sister Jane Townsend, brothers, Shelby Townsend and Rodney Townsend, sister, Linda Ortego, numerous nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
The family has set up a memorial fund, in lieu of flowers, for Deaninne Townsend Dean at Citizens National Bank, 2711 E Texas St, Bossier City, LA 71111.
Services for Deaninne Dean will be held in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home, Shreveport, on Friday, September 7, 2001 at 11:00 am. Officiating the service will be Brother Kent Greer of Pentecostals on Meriwether. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-9 pm.
