H.O. Silvers, age 79, well known retired farmer, who lived in Dixon township for many years, died this morning at the home of his son Otto, 616 N. Cherry Street, Eaton after a lingering illness. His wife passed away about three years ago. He was a member of the Eaton Chruch of the Brethren. His survivers include, besides the son Otto, two other sons, Arthur of Longview Calif., and Homer of San Bernandino, Calif., and one daughter Mrs. Harley Hildebolt of Dayton. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the Church of the Brethren with the Rev. L John Weaver officiating. The body may be viewed at the Barnes Funeral Home any time, Thursday, until the service.
