Sarah Corbett Dinger

Mrs. Sarah Dinger, of 522 Grant Street, Reynoldsville, died Thursday in the DuBois Hospital following a brief illness. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Dinger was born March 22, 1879, in Prescottville, a daughter of John H. and Isabella Barnard Corbett.

She was married 1909 to Charles M. Dinger who died in June of this year. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, in Reynoldsville, and had been the church organist for 25 years. She belonged to the DAR. She was a lifelong resident of the Reynoldsville area.

Surviving are a son and a daughter. Charles W. Dinger, of Reynoldsville and Mrs. Eugene Barnard, of Brewster, N.Y. Surviving also are five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Miss Georgie Corbett, of Reynoldsville. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ober Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. The Rev. William J. Foster, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight.
