Elizabeth Webb Dies Saturday: Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Elizabeth Webb, 86, of 2020 South C street, died at 12:15 o'clock Saturday noon at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Jack Edgell, Fairground road, of heart complications. She had been in failing health the last two years.
Born in Hamilton county, May 5, 1864, she was the daughter of Frederick and Hannah Goins. She was married to Nathan Webb. He died in 1933. Mrs. Webb had lived in Elwood practically her entire life. She was a member of Pilgrim Holiness church.
Survivors are five grandchildren--Mrs. Betty Jarrett of Des Moines, Mrs. Ruth Corbett, Mrs. Mabel Edgell of Elwood, and Carol and Earl Sattler of Elwood. There are 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Jackley funeral home. The Rev. Lee Goins will officiate. Burial will be made in Carey-Webb cemetery near Strawtown.
The body is at the Jackley funeral home where friends may call.
