Silas A. Hall was born September 21, 1854, in Tarrant County, Texas; died Sept 14, 1930. He was married to Mary Almira Campbell on January 23, 1877. To this union 11 children were born, 10 of whom are living and all were present.

His wife Mary Almira preceded him in death of Feburary 20, 1926; also a son Samuel Peter Hall in 1883. He leaves to mourn his loss three brothers, one sister, ten children, 17 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
