Mrs. Nora Hamm
Hartland – Mrs. Nora (Adams) Hamm, 91, died June 8 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Francis Thomas of Dexter.
She had been born at Wellington Sept. 30, 1878, the daughter of James and Alice Olive (Staples) Adams.
She had been married to Ivan Hamm and they had made their home in Cambridge until 1936. Since then they have lived in Palmyra and Hartland.
She had been a Seven Degree member of the Grange and a member of the Cambridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Helen Littlefield of Hartland, Mrs. Hazel Blan of Vienna, Mrs. Rachel Sprague of Hartland, Mrs. Arvene Yakemore of West Simsbury, Conn., one son E. Wesley Hamm of Hartland, one sister, Mrs. Etta Bell of Guilford 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel in Hartland, Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Norman Young of Dexter officiating.
Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Hartland.
Friends may call at the Hartland chapel Wednesday 2-4 and 7-8 p.m.
