RICHARD BUCHEIT DIED YESTERDAY IN PITTSBURGH

Richard L. Bucheit, 68, of RD 4 Treasure Lake, died yesterday afternoon in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a short illness. He had moved to Treasure Lake from St. Marys last year.

He was born November 2, 1915 in St. Marys, son of the late Frank X. and Rinnie Martin Bucheit. He was employed as an accountant for West Penn Power.

Surviving are his wife, the former Rita E. Wilhelm, whom he married February 13, 1943; three daughters, Donna, Mrs. Frank Jones of Norristown; Kathy, Mrs. Charles Ritter of Bend, Ore.; Ann, Mrs. Thomas Marshall of Wexford; two sons, Frederick C. of Peach Creek, Richard A. at home and six grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Clara Horchen of St. Marys; three brothers, John of Mt. Jewett; Andrew of Kane; and Walter Bucheit of Lorraine, Ohio.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Bernard, Louis and Leon.

Mr. Bucheit was Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and was a member of the St. Marys American Legion.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Michael's Church, DuBois. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the James H. Luther Funeral Home, Inc., DuBois, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
