To this union five children were born, Mrs. Lizzie Giles, Henry Stock of Shullsburg, Mrs. Anna Atz and Mrs. Ida Atz, of Sibley, Iowa and Viola, who died in infancy. His wife passed to her home beyond the curtain of death in 1901. In 1905 he went to Sibley, Iowa to make his home with his daughter, Anna, where on March 13th, he fell asleep to awake in the presence of his God. Loving hands cared for hi, and blessed are they who have mother and father to greet them when they too must pass through the Valley of Death.
Rev. Weeks conducted the funeral services which were held at the Congregational church in this city on Saturday, March 16th, 1912.
