Rev. Delaino Blazer, age 82, of Christian County, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Robin O'Hare officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Rev. Blazer was born in Reiner Township, Minnesota on October 10, 1938, the son of the late Bruce Herbert and Irene Lillian Johnson Blazer. He was a veteran of the US Army. After his Army career, he worked in DOL and System Analysis for Ft Campbell Civil Service where he retired in 2002. Rev. Blazer retired from the pastorate in January of 2020, after 30 years in ministry at Hopkinsville Foursquare Church. He was faithful to his pastors group that met every week. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Sue Marcum Blazer in 1993.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Connie Oliver Frye Blazer of Crofton, KY; his son, Dr. Arlynn Blazer and his wife, Olivia of Cleveland, TN; his daughters, Ilayna Bowers and her husband Steven of Crofton, KY and Arletta Narvaez and her husband Oscar of Salem, OR; his step-sons, Jesse Frye and his wife Samantha of Cadiz, KY and Marcus Frye and his wife, Merilee of Cadiz, KY; twelve grandchildren, Hayla Swaw, Kanisha Parrish, Nerissa Bowers, Marcanah Knight, Maylee Frye, Isaac Bowers, Preslie Frye, Aidan Frye, Abigail Blazer, Adalin Narvaez, Ethan Narvaez, and Amos Blazer; and eight great grandchildren, Braiden Parrish, Aiden Parrish, Mylah Swaw, Liam Frye, Karson Parrish, Haydin Swaw, Hadlee Parrish and Charlie Segebart.
