Denny was rescued thru DASH animal rescue by Zack Martin and Keri Collin in August of 2016. At the time Denny was estimated to be 10, but after making contact with his first family, we found out that he was probably closer to 12. Probably born around Feb 2004, Denny lived around Chillicothe for a good portion of his life but unfortunately it was a life that had some difficulty. Denny was stabbed in the head, neck, and back by a grandchild of his former family and was taken from the home. While his upbringing may have not been the best, he was not affected by it the slightest and was not scared of anything (except the smoke detector!) and did not show any signs of aggression. He was a very loyal dog and would try his best to be a shadow to his humans whenever possible. Despite being told that he couldn't do stairs because of his arthritis and a previous leg injury, he spent 4+ years proving that to be false.
