From the 11/22/1906, Van Wert, Ohio, Daily Times: "Mrs. Mary Budd, for fifty years a resident of this city, is dead at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. F. Fisher, of Ft. Wayne, at the age of 92 years. For many years she has been a faithful member of the Methodist church. The aged lady died suddenly and for the greater part of her life was strong and healthy. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fisher, of Fort street, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Elizabeth Tarr, of Monroeville, Ind. Three grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Hoyt, Mrs. Floyd Blank and Mrs. Thomas Ingledue also survive the deceased. Funeral services over the remains will be held today at the home of her daughter in Fort Wayne, at 10:30 o'clock. Her body will be brought to this city on the one o'clock train and burial will be made in Woodland cemetery."
