Beverly W. Malavolta passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021. She was born July 29, 1931 in West Chester. Bev was with the Chester County Sheriff's Office for 23 years. Before and during her retirement, Bev enjoyed watching the Phillies and cooking shows. She especially loved cooking for family, friends and frankly, anyone who needed comfort. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, William and Marian Wright, two sons, Joseph M. Malavolta and Michael W. Malavolta, a daughter, Linda Malavolta and a sister Virginia DiSabatino. She is survived by her son John F. Malavolta (Cathy), daughter-in-law Susan Malavolta, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three nieces. She is also survived by a brother, William Wright. The family would like to extend their thanks to the entire staff of Penn Medicine Hospice for their knowledgeable and compassionate assistance. A Graveside Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 471 W. Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380.
