Alicia Aldaco, 55, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

At the family's request, there will be no services for Alicia.

On June 30, 1966, Alicia was born to Victor Aldaco and Felipa Sanchez Aldaco, in Roswell, New Mexico.

She attended Dexter High School, where she graduated. After graduating, she was employed for three years as a janitor for the Dexter Schools and then attended the Western University Police Academy for three years, in Silver City. Alicia then went on to become a police officer and security guard. She later worked for TMC, Nova Bus and Millennium Transit as a supervisor and security guard.

Alicia was an avid rockhound and was known for her rock collection. She was an outdoors person and loved hiking, bike riding, fishing, gardening, swimming, animals, and sports, especially football. Alicia was a Dallas Cowboy fan. She was a beautiful soul and loved to make people laugh and just hug them. Alicia loved helping whoever she could, however she could. She was loved by many, and she was known by many. Alicia just wanted to be there for everyone and always gave her all. She loved kids, especially her nieces and nephews. Alicia was always spending time and play fighting with her brother-in-law, Ramon; always singing and dancing in the truck with her sisters: Rosalie and Celia; and messing around with mom and her brother Marcos. We love you so much!

Preceding Alicia in death are her father, Victor Aldaco; grandparents: Antonio Sanchez, Hipolita Aldaco, and Marcos Aldaco; her best friend, Ruby Emerson; and her beloved pet, Taz.

Those left to cherish Alicia's memory are her mother, Felipa Aldaco; siblings: Guillermo Aldaco, Rosalie Velasquez, Marcos Aldaco, and Celia Aldaco; grandmother, Josephina Sanchez; nieces and nephews: Shandie Aldaco, Victoria Aldaco, Angiellina Velasquez, Victor Velasquez, Jazmine, Anthony, Esmeralda, Micheal and Destiny Hemphill; great-nieces and nephews: Justyce Candelaria, Jesiah Aldavaz, Mia Najar.

Alicia's obituary was written in her honor by her family.
