Suggested edit: Services for William Cullen Duncan, 90, pioneer state resident and retired farmer, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with burial in the Stroud Cemetery under direction of the Curry Funeral Home.
Duncan, A Prague nursing home resident, died Monday in the Stroud General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 2 1885, at Duncan Mills, Ill. and came to Oklahoma in 1891, living at Wellston. He had lived in the Stroud and Prague area since 1907. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Martina Alexander, Stroud; Mrs. Geneva Hyatt, Prague; Mrs. Gladys Marshall, Moore; Mrs. Pearl Hamblin and Mrs. Myrle Janota, Oklahoma City; four sons, Clarence, Prague; Don, Stroud; The Rev. Bob Duncan, Oklahoma City and Wayne, Jones; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
