The Chandler Tribune (Chandler, Okla.), Friday, February 15, 1907
Died
Near Wellston Oklahoma February 10, 1907, Mrs. Mary H. Kephart, wife of Arthur Kephart and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duncan.
She endured great suffering without a murmur of complaint, always with a cheerful word and pleasant smile for her friends.
She died in peace, saying she was willing to go if it was God’s will that she longed to be with her darling who had gone before and who was waiting for her.
When dying she had her little four year old daughter kneel by her bed side and repeated the prayer with her that she had taught her.
She bid good bye to all her family with a sweet smile on her face and tried to comfort them. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, a true friend, and an every day Christian.
She leaves a husband and two children, father, mother, and seven brothers and many other relatives to mourn her loss.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S.H. Bixler, of Rossville, who preached a beautiful and fitting sermon.
