Nanny King was a good Christian woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. To know Nanny King was to love her. She had the biggest heart, had a great sense of humor, and was a great cook. Nanny never met a stranger and loved everyone she met.
Survivors include daughters: Diane (Gary) Daniels and Debbie (Larry) Farley; son: Gary (Marcia) King; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Joann Hunter and Jean Robinson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special sister-in-law: Jean King.
In addition to her parents, Nanny was preceded in death by husband: Nelson King; sister: Dorcas Anderson; brother: Odell Kirby; granddaughter-in law; Jill Farley; niece: Teresa England.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 30, 2021 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. David Flatt officiating. Interment followed in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery - Mausoleums.
