Evelyn was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Farrell who moved to Wyoming from Nebraska in 1868. The original Langholff homestead was the site of the now Laramie City Park in Laramie Wyoming. Evelyn was a devout Catholic. she was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft in Walden Colorado

Mrs Langholf Walden Pioneer is dead at 76

Funeral service for Mrs Eva Langholf 76 pioneer resident who died yesterday afternoon at the ranch home of her daughter, Mrs Harry Green, west of Walden. will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Stryker Mortuary. the Rev. John McDevitt of the Catholic Church will conduct teh rites. Burial is to be made in the family plot at Green Hill Cemetery

Mrs Langholf had been ill of heart disease for a long time, and for the last month had been confined to bed.

She was the widow of Fred Langholf who died several years ago, and the daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Farrell who moved to this vicinity from Nebraska in 1868. The original Langholf homestead was the site now occupied by the Laramie City Park.

Mrs Langholf was a devout Catholic, and numbered countless friends among her wide aquantenceship. She was a member of Neighbors of Woodcraft of Walden. The members of the lodge held services this afternoon in commemoration of Mrs Langholf affiliation with the group.

Survivors are Mrs Green; two sons, Douglas R and Edward F both ranchers near Pocatello, Idaho. six grandchildren including Mrs Harold Semple of Walden, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Green. and Edward Ernest and Dale Langholf sons of Edward F langholf all of whom are employed on the Green Ranch
